Microsoft confirmed yesterday that cockroaches have been found in at least 100 Windows 98 boxes shipped during July. „We’re not sure how the roaches got to the packaging department,” a Microsoft spokesman said. „We thought we had them all contained in Sales and Marketing. Rest assured, though, that we will do our best to keep future Microsoft products insect-free. We plan to spray all shipped CDs with Microsoft’s new ActiveKill™ insect spray.”
