Hogyne lenne használható. A grub-ban is át lehet állítani egy-két dolgot, és az x indulása után, ha nyomsz egy CTRL-ALT-F1-et, akkor átvált karakteres módba gdm nélkül az UHU, mintha az init 3-at adtad volna ki.
Azt hiszem, hogy ertem a problemat, en is hasonloan jartam. Pont ma nosztalgiaztam egyet, es felraktam az UHU-t. Installaltam az ati drivert, utana konzol. fglrxconfig-ot nem talaltam, ugyhogy gondoltam ujra inditom, es mar fogadott is a fennt ismertetett problema. Engem is erdekelne a megoldas.

Bepe79: tudnál írni bõvebben ezekrõl. Nem teljesen értem, hogyan tudnám ezt a hibát kiküszöbölni+azt sem te mirõl beszélsz.

Bocs hogy ilyen hülye kérésekkel fordulok hozzátok.Ha nem konfiguráljátok be az xorg-ot, mégis hogyan induljon el az X?
Pedig ott kell lennie az fglrxconfignak, csak max. nem a root elérési útjában.which fglrxconfig megmondja hol van.
Balev: igazad van csak az a probléma, hogy még nem állok olyan szinten, hogy be tudjam configolni az X.org-ot. Már sikerült elkezdenem csak egy-két dologra nem tom a választ. Le tudná valaki írni, hogy mit hogyan csináljak. Már 1x sikerült kinyírni az UHU-t.

A telepíteni kívánt driver: ati-driver-installer-8.21.7-i386.runAz lenne a legfõbb cél, hogy 3D-s munkára bírjam a kártyámat, pl egy játékra.
Aki tud valami hasznosat, hogy elinduljon a dolog, az kérem írja le.
