      Hmm… Legközelebb inkább csatold.
      A süsü 10.1-ben úgy tudom, közvetlenül lehet telepíteni az ati drivert.

          Hűha, így nehéz.
          A kernel-flavor-ban a ‘flavor’ csak egy jelzés, a kernelednek megfelelőt kell a lehetőségekből kijelölni.
          Ez a telepítési mód kizárólag net-tel működik, az ati letöltéshez be sem tudsz lépni – csak a zen-nel vagy a yast-tal.

              1. vagy a hónod alá csapod a gépet és ráakaszkodsz egy szabad kábelvégre, vagy
              2. a fentebb linkelt howto alapján a ‘manual driver installation’ szerint jársz el.
              Mindenképpen olvasd el, biztos vagyok benne, hogy meg tudod oldani.

                Hát én próbáltam kézzel, de a fent említett hibákba ütköztem, amire úgytűnik senki se tudja a +oldást:)
                És ezt az ati-fglrx-kmp- -t ezt a yasttal (v zennel) csak telepíteni lehet, letölteni nem?

                  1. Az ati kártya nem túl népszerű linuxos körökben, a saját bőrödön érezheted, hogy miért.  🙂
                  Szóval légy türelemmel pár napig, valaki biztosan idetéved, akinek van ati kártyája.
                  2. Úgy tudom, igen. Ha felmész erre a helyre, hibaüzenetet ad:
                  „this repository is not browsable with a web browser.”

                    Sziasztok!
                    Először is bocsi, h új témát nyitok, és hogy ilyen hosszú lesz:), de nemigen találtam a problémámra konkrét megoldást az eddigi témákban…
                    Az a gondom, hogy miután feltelepítettem az fglrx 8.24.8as verzióját (rpm-ből), és kiadtam az „aticonfig –initial –input=/etc/X11/xorg.conf” parancsot, egyszerűen nem indul el az X. Szerencsére volt biztonsági mentésem az xorg.conf-ról, így vissza tudtam állítani.
                    Azért találtam pár furcsaságot, először itt van az ati által átkonfigurált xorg.conf

                    Ebben szerintem semmi extra sincs, csak nem tudom, hogy az úgy normális-e, hogy ez

                    így szerepel benne. Próbáltam kitörölni a felső Section részt, hogy a radeon modult ne töltse be, de nem használt, ugyanazt az üzenetet kaptam vissza.
                    Megnéztem a „/var/log/Xorg.0.log”-ot, amit most nem akarok teljesen beírni, mert nagyon hosszú, de ami szerintem lényeges:
