„using_dma = 1 (on)” -ez végülis azt jelenti, hogy rendben a DMA, nem? Akkor viszont még mindig nem egyértelmû, hogy miért ilyen lassú. Fõleg a boot. Kiírja, hogy 2.4…. a kernel, aztán félóra szünet, majd továbbmegy, nekiálnak telni a pontok, onnantól rendben van a sebesség. F2-re nem reagál.

Asszem uhu-ban a grub-ban automatikusan be van allitva, hogy quiet modban induljon a kernel, ami azt jelenti, hogy nem irja ki mit csinal… Ezt ki lehet kapcsolni ugy, hogy a /boot/grub/menu.lst-bol kiveszed a quiet szot, ott ahol kell vagy amikor a grub-ban valasztasz menupontot, akkor be lehet hozni valamelyik betuvel a szerkesztest… Es ha a quiet ki van veve, akkor a kernel irja, hogy mit csinal, es abbol talan ki tudod deriteni, hogy mi tart neki olyan sokaig…

Megnéztem, nincs ilyen bejegyzés. Egyébként nekem végig írja, hogy mit bootol éppen, csak a legeleje lassú, tehát bekapcsolom a gépet, egybõl kiírja ugye, hogy a hda0-ról bootol, meg ilyenek, aztán, hogy 2.4.24-… a kernel , és itt leáll egy csomó idõre, se vinyó ne mmegy se semmi. Aztán egyszercsak kiírja, hogy init xxx (valami) aztán nekiállnak telni (viszonylag gyorsan a kis pontok, és onnantól kezdve már rendben megy, tehát írja, hogy most ezt csinál, most meg azt.
