Nem sikerült..
leírom próbálkozásom:
miután nem tudtam rájönni hogy lehet lelőni x-et ezért kétféleképp futottam neki: egyik recovery console-ban indítottam ubuntut, a másik pedig console-ban kiadtam sudo -i, init 2, killall gdm parancsokat.
innentől folytatás/végkifejlet mindkét esetben ugyanaz: sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8774-pkg.run
erre elindult a telepítő, eleinte kötöszködött, hogy nincs gcc, make, libc, ezeket synaptic segítségével felderítettem, és telepítettem, viszont itt elakadtam: nvidia-installer log file ‘/var/log/nvidia-installer.log’

driver download page at http://www.nvidia.com.Korlátozott angol tudásom itt végleg csődöt mondott, azt értem hogy a kernel forrásával akar vmit, de mit? Synapticcal azért telepítettem külön a kernel sourcot is persze ettől semmi sem lett jobb…
Szóval most mi lehet a baja, mi kell neki, mit kellene csinálnom?

Volt fent pár hónapja slackware is, az sem fagyott, az nekem volt még magas. Van még susém de azt nemhiszem, hogy most felrakom próbának (túl hosszú idő). Szóval lehet, hogy debian nem szereti a videókártyámat/vmelyik driververziót(kat)?

Sima nv driverrel is fagy?Ctrl+alt+backspace-re sem reagál semmit. Egérmutató mozog, minden más merev. Csak két gomb működőképes, az egyik a power hosszan nyomva, a másik a reset. Szóval számomra menthetetlennek tűnik abban az állapotban.
