      Ne linkeld! – de kérlek, ó bölcs mi a szent penész az hogy a „hupon”, nekem csupa NVidia zsugám van, mindíg kernelt forgatok de az X-el nem sokat foglalkoztam. :blush:
      Nekem is kéne az a leírás. <_<

        Hello!
        feltettem az Nvidia drivert 2.6.8.1 kernelre és ezt írja amikor a beállításokat akarom megnézni:

          modprobe nvidia mit ír, esetleg a logja is érdekes lenne, illetve az XF86config.
          egyébként megy? Azt nem írtad…

              Sziasztok!

              Probléma: megláttam az új nVidia drivert a honlapjukon (6629) le is szedtem iziben, Xbõl kiléptem, és leszedtem a régi, egyébként jól mûködõ 6111-es drivert. (hiba volt…)

              az új telepítõje közli velem a kedvenc „nem találja a kernel-source-ot, add meg hol is van” hibaüzenetet, miután megcsinálta modult.

              a /var/log/nvidia-installer.log idevágó része:

              A vicc a dologban, hogy a kernel-source fent van (két hónappal ezelõtt ugyanezel a felállással gond nélkül felment)

              Hõsiesen nem estem pánikba: nosza rakjuk vissza a 6111-es drivert, hisz az idáig jó volt.
              Ugyanezzel a hibaüzenettel elszállt.

              Megpróbáltam megkerülni: opcióban megadtam a –kernel-name opciót

              ezzel -természetesen be is rakta szépen a helyére a modult, viszont az X nem indult,
              és modprobe nvidiára az alábbi üzenetet kapom.:

              FATAL: Error inserting nvidia (/lib/modules/2.6.8-bbt/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia.ko): Invalid module format

              Idáig hibátlanul futott a 6111-es.
              tervbe van véve, hogy újra kicsomagolom a kernel-sourcet, a .config megvan: csinálok egy új,de ugyanilyen kernelt, betolom alá és megnézem mit lép, de nem fûzök hozzá túl sok reményt.

              Esetleg nincs valakinek használahtó ötlete?
