openSUSE 11 + laptop suspend (s2ram)

– pm-utils
– powersave
– suspend

telepítve vannak

KDE 3.5; Lenovo 3000 C200 laptop (openSuse 11.0)

ettől függetlenül nincs kint a választható lehetőségek között a felfüggesztés memóriába (suspend 2 ram)
a hibernálás szintén zenész, nincs kint a kilépés menüben

s2ram-ra pedig lásd alább mit írt ki.

a furcsa az, hogy a kpowersave elérhető, ha onnan indítom a felfüggesztést memóriába utána ezt kapom vissza:

amúgy le sem áll a gép, csak a képernyőt zárolja, utána visszaléphetek, de a fentebbi üzenetet adja a kpowersave

szóval mégsem olyan egyszerű az esetem…

P.s.: az alvás gomb elérése pláne nem egyszerű, mivel Fn+F4-re menne, de eddig nem sikerült rájönnöm, hogy ezt hogyan tudnám összekötni a fentebbi funkcióval.

ma meglepő dolog történt…

megjelent a kilépés menüpontnál a felfüggesztés lemezre és a felfüggesztés memóriába.
egy kicsit ilyesztő, mert semmit (!!!) nem állítottam rajta, „csak” próbáltam elindítani a funkciókat kpowersave alól

felfüggesztés memóriába: semmit sem csinál, azon kívül, hogy lekapcsolja a wifi-t… utána áll mint bálám szamara…

felfüggesztés lemezre: elindul, szépen le is kapcsol, de utána újraindítás és a wifi SIGSEVG (?)-el elszáll és többé nem éled fel csak ha kilépek az adott munkamenetből (bár már ez is haladás)

ezekre az opciókra amúgy elég sokszor van szükségem, mivel gyakran változtatok helyszínt, és a boot suse alatt nem sokkal gyorsabb mint vistánál (minimum 1-1,5 perc)

szóval haladás történt, a menüpontok már kint vannak (bár idegesít hogy nem tudom hogyan és miért)

valakinek van ötlete?

megjelent a kilépés menüpontnál a felfüggesztés lemezre és a felfüggesztés memóriába.
egy kicsit ilyesztő, mert semmit (!!!) nem állítottam rajta, „csak” próbáltam elindítani a funkciókat kpowersave alól

felfüggesztés memóriába: semmit sem csinál, azon kívül, hogy lekapcsolja a wifi-t… utána áll mint bálám szamara…

felfüggesztés lemezre: elindul, szépen le is kapcsol, de utána újraindítás és a wifi SIGSEVG (?)-el elszáll és többé nem éled fel csak ha kilépek az adott munkamenetből (bár már ez is haladás)

A goggle szerint sokan küzdenek a problémával. A probléma feltehetőleg a wifi miatt van (ami ugye egy ipw3945).
1. Kipróbálnám a következőt: Kapcsold ki a BIOS-ban a wifit, így az oprendszered nem fogja látni (előtte készítsd fel a networkmanagert, hogy ne próbáljon vezetéknélküli hálóra felmenni). Utána nézd meg, hogy megy e a memóriába illetve a lemezre való felfüggesztés. Ha megy, akkor biztos hogy a wifi-vel van gond.
2. Kipróbálnám a következőt: Amikor a wifi látható, és felfüggeszted a lemezre, valamint utána visszatérsz, akkor nyiss egy Konsole-t, lépj be rendszergazdaként (su), és add ki a

A goggle szerint sokan küzdenek a problémával. A probléma feltehetőleg a wifi miatt van (ami ugye egy ipw3945).

Konsole-ban maradva, rendszergazdai jogokat magadénak tudva, hozd létre a /etc/pm/config.d könyvtárban a modules file-t (legegyszerűbben: „nano /etc/pm/config.d/modules” – a nano egy egyszerű könnyen kezelhető editor, ctrl-x segítségével lépsz ki, és mentsd el a fájlt.) a következő tartalommal:

Utána legegyszerűbb egy újraindítás, és utána próbálkozz a felfüggesztéssel lemezre illetve memóriába is.
