sajnos nem adott vissza semmit.
A notira a touchpad mellé is csak annyi van írva, hogy wireless 802.11b/g (meg a merevlemez, display, stb…)

Átfutottam manual-okat, de mindegyik csak általánosságban beszél a WLAN-ról, mondván, ha van benne, akkor 100mW a max teljesítmény meg hasonlók. Olyan „igazi” gépkönyve pedig sztem nincs.

Lehet vmi szoftveres útja, hogy megállapítsuk a típust?

Köszi!

Sztem a WLAN típusa annyira nem lényeges, ha nem megy, vehetsz bele 5-6000Ft-ért egy picimaci (PCMCIA :)) WLAN karit, olyat, ami biztos kompatibilis Linux-al.

Persze sokkal kényelmesebb, ha a beépített WLAN-t használod, és nem a picimacit… 😉

Nagyon köszi a segítséget, én azért megpróbálkozok az ASUS-al, már csak azért is, mert már fél úton van hazafelé… 🙂
Nagyon szeretném, ha vmelyik Linux disztró menne rajta normálisan, de ha minde kötél szakad, végső megoldásnak ott a M$ legújabb „csodája”.

Tapasztalataimat leírom a fórumba.

Én is mostanába gondoltam laptopit venni.
Mit gondoltok, az ASUS laptopok mennyire szeretik, ha Linux fut rajtuk?
Van esély rá, hogy az újjlenyomat-olvasó működni fog, mondjuk egy SUSE 10.2-es rendszerrel?
