nv_check.sh:
Welcome to the NVidia Driver Installation Checker.
This shell script is meant to help you debug your installation
of the beta NVidia Linux drivers. It is not 100% foolproof.
In particular, you will definitely want to make sure you have
the correct options in your XF86Config to make X work properly.
This script cannot debug your X setup. That being said, it
should prove useful if are having problems with the drivers and
want to check the validity of your driver install.At no time will this script EVER make changes to your system.

is set up correctly. In order to do this, I’m first going to try
and find where this file might be…

I’m going to check your XF86Config file for the following things:
1) Loading the GLcore and glx modules
2) Specifying the nvidia driver instead of nvChecking for the Load glx statement…

It seems to be intact. Now lets see if you’re loading the correct
video driver…

The kernel device /dev/nvidia1 does not exist, is not a device,
or does not have the proper permissions set. This dev entry should
have been created when you created the kernel module. If you
compiled the module by hand, you may have to create this device
manually (major number 195, minor number 1). After this is done,

Module nvidia loaded, with warningsnv_check.sh-ra:
végigmegy, megtalálja a XF86Config-ot, nvidiat is, a sorok kikomentezve (dri …stb)
csak a végén a 3d-nél áll megha az nvidia van beírva a XF86Conf-ba, akkor nem tõltödik az X, kernel modul initializálása nem sikerült
UHU 1.0-ra felraktam az NVIDIA-…5336-os nvidia drivert, fel is ment csont nélkül, még a lib*-ok miatt sem szól. a modules.conf-ban, megvan a hivatkozás a /dev/nvidia-ra, de a /dev/nvidia nem létezik.
hivatkozás:
alias /dev/nvidia *nvidiaalias char-major-195 nvidia ez is létezik a modules.conf-ban
Adtam neki:
– apt-get install kernel-headers-t, minden oké ezzel
– felraktam sima tar-ból is a kernel-t és a GLX-t is (NVIDIA_kernel-1.0.5336.tar.gz és …GLX.5336.tar.gz) make install -lement
– lsmod – nem mutatja nvidia-tmi lehet a gond??

Tomiahogy azt a hibaüzenetben is leirtam, akkor van a gond, amikor az nvidia van beirva, ha nv van benne akkor müködik.
Szereztem egy mükõ nvidia-s konfigurációt és ugyanazok a sorok vannak benne! Ugyhogy lászólag nem itt van a gond!!

Biztos unalmas állandóan az nvidiárol olvasni, de a forumban ezt a részt végigolvastam, az összes linked megnéztem, de nem találok rá magyarázatott.
Akármelyik nvidia drivert tltöm le és teszem fel, a hiba üzenet mindig ugyanaz:
EE NVIDIA(0): Failed to initialize the NVIDIA kernel module!

EE Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configurationFatal server error:
no screens foundfeltettem több drivert is, és utána átirtam a XF86Config-ban a Drivert „nv”-rõl „nvidia”, ekkor adja a hibaüzenetet, ha visszairom nv-re, minden oké! Mi lehet a hiba? és a tv modot hogyan kell majd aktívá tenni?

be akartam állítani a geforce 4 mx440-es kártyám, az uhu oldalán letölthetõ pdf füzetben lévõ leírás alapján leszedtem a 4191-es drivert, elvégeztem az ott leírt lépéseket.
kernel-header most a legfrisebb
és a X mindig azt irja ki, hogy az nvidia kernellel hiba van, a server nem talál screen-t!
