A VIA-s ide-n volt. Átdugtam a HPT-s ide-re. Így valamelyest gyorsult:

Nos a gépen a 2.5.22 r5 ös kernel van. A live cd-n tuti régebbi. Valami beállítási különbség lehet, csak vajon mi?
Valószínűleg a HPT-re van dugva. De már próbáltam csak HPT, csak VIA, mind2. Ha csak HPT volt akkor nem akarta az igazat, egyébként ugyanaz. Látszólag.

Visszaállítottam VIA-ra bejelöltem a ” [ ] Boot off-board chipsets first support „-ot illetve kiszedtem a
” Intel PIIXn chipsets support ” -ot. Így a dma-t hajlandó bekapcsolni de sebesség változás nincs.A lemezről sokkal többet nem tudok mint fentebb szerepel, kivéve hogy 80gb-os és hogy 7200rpm-es. Hiába állítom ezt én be, akkor se tudja a dma-t bekapcsolni.

Kiszedtem a VIA-t beraktam a HPT-t, újrafordítottam. Nem működik. Így már a dma-t se lehet bekapcsolni:

A chipsetem VIA-s, és ez is van beállítva a kernelbe, illetve ennél a résznél még „Intel PIIXn chipsets support ” mert az olvastam annaki mindig be kéne lennie jelölve.
