The P-792H supports standard IPSec VPN, suitable for site-to-site andremote access deployment. Data encryption over the Internet ensuressecure data transmission between two sites and can be used to replace aprivate leased line or frame relay network; global interconnectivitycan be achieved at a minimal expense.

[B]Auto Fail-over and Fail-back WAN Backup Solution[/B]
The P-792H supports fail-over and fail-back WAN Backup Solution byforwarding traffic to either a backup ISDN or analog modem in the eventof DSL connection failure. When the DSL connection is re-established,traffic returns. The P-792H also performs backup functions byredirecting traffic to a specific gateway to ensure availability of theInternet. The WAN Backup Solution saves device maintenance cost andminimizes daily operation loss.
