      Szerintem vedd ki az etc és a home alól a beállításokat, aztán töröld a szervízeket. A wmware workstation telepítése után szokott lenni egy olyan probléma, hogy minden újraindítás után újra kell konfigurálni. Ez azért van, mert a szervíz beállítások rosszak, ha nem tud elindulni a szervíz, akkor egy bejegyzést tesz ha jól emlékszem az /etc/vmware alá, hogy újra kell konfigurálni. Nálam volt egy vmplayer és egy vmware szervíz is, ráadásul az egyik előbb indult el mint mások amiktől függött. Kicsit irtottam, aztán megjavult.

        Sziasztok. Korábban Ubuntu 6.10-ben VMWare Servert telepítettem rpm -> alien -> deb módon (hogy miért nem tar-ból, magam sem értem). vmware-config.pl után minden szépen működött is. Most áttérnék VMWare Workstationre (egyelőre kipróbálnám). Eltávolítottam a servercsomagot a synapticban – hibajelzést adott, de törölte. A workstation viszont nem települ, mondván “A previous installation of VMware software has been detected.” vmware-uninstall.pl sehol nincs. De a server sem megy már vissza. Tudnátok segíteni?
